For atheists who believe in Jesus how do you view historical Jesus?

Im curious about how an athiest would think.
For atheists who believe in Jesus how do you view historical Jesus?
Jesus as an historical figure is regarded as a political and social reformer
For atheists who believe in Jesus how do you view historical Jesus?
Atheists, at least me, do believe that historical figures in religion actually existed. Guys like Gautama Buddha, Jesus, Moses, etc all were real in my book. However, I do not regard what they taught to be absolute fact.
Reply:Good question. Remember most historians believe that he did live, now all the acts and events are written way past his death so that is were the problem lies. Most atheists would believe he was a preacher but that is it. No god doesn't mean other people agreed.
Reply:is there any historical evidence towards the existence of jesus that is not in the bible? atheist consider the bible as pure literature and literature is fiction

u either believe in jesus as a religious image either u don't. atheism should be based on a strong basis, without leaving the door open to consider yourself worth of salvation in the case of the existence of god
Reply:atheists don't believe jesus or god even existed....not they don't believe in his powers but they just flat out think it's a story made up to keep the people sane. not all atheists are the same and they may have different reasons as to why they do not believe the stories but they all do not believe jesus and god were ever real to begin with.
