I think it's A. I'm about 85% sure. Most people supported the allies before we got into WWI but they weren't as fervent about it as before we got into WWII.

There was some support, but the US was selling arms to both sides. During the time around the Lusitanias sinking though, we tended to sell more to the Allies.

Reply:A. There was support, yes, but not overwhelming. So this is the answer.


B. Irish Americans, generally anti-British, were much more supportive of the Germans than most of the american population.


C) Most Americans saw no reason for the US to bother with the wars in Europe.


D) The British were definitely better at propoganda, especially when it came to propoganda aimed for American audiances.
