Vietnam war?

ok so i dont really get how it all started? does anyone know?


and i think it ended by the first the domino theory and vietnam divided

And to answer your question, the Vietnam War started when the communist North Vietnamese attempted to crush a non communist's revolt in south Vietnam.


France and the United States sent troops in to help the South Vietnamese, but took heavy casulaties from booby traps, guerrilla warfare employed by the North Vietnamese.





The war ended with the United States pulling out its troops and the North Vietnamese taking the South Vietnamese city of Saigon. Thus, Vietnam became a united communist nation, but not without the deaths of millions of Vietnamese from the North and South in the bloody civil war.
